Angela Sun

Angela Sun, an American journalist and TV sportscaster, and documentary filmmaker. Angela Sun was born on October 19, 1979, at Santa Clara County California. She has won awards for her work as a journalist, sportscaster and actress. She has a diploma in Communications and Sociology from the University of California. Sun has a great surfing ability and was a participant in numerous Pro-Am Surf competitions that led to sponsorship from large brands like Roxy Reef Billabong Vans etc. The attention she received due to this fact was like a slingshot to propel her into the entertainment business. Sun later went on to become an who was an investigative sportscaster as well as film director. Sun has been a reporter on several news channels, primarily in the role of anchor. In 2003, she was reporter on Fox Sports Net. She hosted American Ninja Warrior along with Matt Iseman in 2012. Sun hosted The Yahoo Sports Minute during 2014. She was the first Asian American to have her name featured in ESPN Fox Sports Yahoo Sports, Tennis Channel and Yahoo Sports. Sun was a part of a number of films, and her talents as an actress are lauded and acknowledged. Sun has appeared in films such as Goliath (2016) Hit the Floor ( 2014- 2016) A Perfect Getaway ( 2009) Shackled (2005) Street Kings (2008) and Glowsticks and Drumsticks (2004). Sun's feature-length documentary Platic Paradise The Great Pacific Garbage Patch was a film that focused on the impact of the plastic waste on oceans. She created, wrote and directed the film herself.
